Every big change begins with small steps. Last month, our volunteer spent two weeks in, teaching children how to read and write. What started as simple evening reading lessons turned into a movement — now more than 30 children attend daily classes. This story reminds us that real transformation doesn’t always need big funds or large teams. Sometimes, it just takes one person with the courage to care.
In many parts of our country, poverty is passed down like an inheritance. Children grow up watching their parents struggle, often forced to drop out of school to work and support their families. The cycle continues, generation after generation.
When we think of change, we often imagine grand gestures — huge donations, large campaigns, or international projects. But at Atal Bharat Trust, we have witnessed time and again that the smallest act of kindness can create ripples far beyond what we can see.
